Rowantree is a self-catering holiday cottage near Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries & Galloway.

The cottage enjoys a private and peaceful setting in a secluded valley in the Galloway hills, yet is only a ten minute drive to the local market town of Gatehouse of Fleet.

Rowantree Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large, fully-equipped dining kitchen and comfortable sitting room with open fire. The bedrooms are one double, one twin and one with single bed and bunk-bed.

There is also a safely enclosed garden with garden furniture. Surrounded by a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) the area is particularly rich in wild-flowers and birdlife. Red squirrels and woodpeckers are frequent visitors to the bird-feeders.

The area provides plentiful opportunities for mountain-biking, hill-walking and other outdoor activities both directly from the cottage and in the nearby Galloway Forest Park.
